Our story

We are Thankful 4 R&B

Detroit gave the world soul. Motown started here. But in a city full of rap, a lot of today's R&B singers never get a real stage. So we built one.

It started on October 29, 2023, with six singers at Punch Line Comedy Lounge in Southfield. Since then we've put on 16 shows, made the Orchid Theatre in Ferndale our home, and brought our own stage to the RiverFront Music Festival at Hart Plaza.

Along the way we've shared the night with Nivea, Sammie, Bow Wow and Latto. The heart of it never changed: Detroit's next R&B stars, singing live, for a room that came to listen.
